SHEEP SCAB VACCINATION CAMPAIGN STARTS 

Mokhotlong Jan.15 — The Livestock Department is currently embarking on a vaccination campaign of sheep against scab disease in the district from Monday.

According to the Mokhotlong District Veterinary Officer Dr. Owen Kakono, the campaign is intended to protect small stock against the disease for promotion of quality wool and mohair.

He added that last week saw distribution of vaccines and briefings with farmers in various parts of the district to encourage them to bring their small stock for vaccination so as to prevent the small stock from the infection of the scab disease. . .
