Maseru, June 11 — With the advent of the digital age, children are facing new and complex challenges to their mental health, from cyberbullying and social media pressure to the addictive nature of technology.
This has prompted the former Minister of Education in the National Children’s Parliament of Lesotho, Ms. Mathe Masupha recognizing the critical importance of addressing children’s mental health.
Ms. Masupha has embarked on a tour in Teyateyaneng, Ha Koali schools, sharing her experiences and inspiring young people to prioritize their mental health.
“In today’s society, it can be easy for children to feel isolated, alone, or overwhelmed by the pressures of social media and technology,” said Masupha.
