Maseru, June 11 — After narrowly missing out on the Vodacom Premier League title to Lioli FC on the last day of the season, Matlama FC President Mr. Moeketsi Khojane says negotiations are currently underway between the club and Mr. Halemakale Mahlaha and his technical team.
Mr. Khojane told the Agency on Tuesday while in Durban where he was going to watch Likuena in action against Rwanda’s Wasps to be played at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday evening, says the negotiations have already started with Mr. Mahlaha and his entire technical team.
“We are ready and willing to retain the entire technical team headed by Mr. Mahlaha after doing well last season only to miss the league title at the last match of the season,” he commented.
Mr. Khojane said he personally would like to see Mr. Mahlaha and his technical team to be given a two year contract so that they could have enough time to implement their plans and build a formidable team ready to challenge for the league title in the new soccer season.
