DC POSTPONES LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE DUE TO SECURITY CONCERNS

Maseru, Oct 25 — The opposition Democratic Congress (DC) has resolved to postpone its leadership conference until the end of November this year due to security concerns based on the prevailing political situation in the country.

The leadership conference was supposed to be held at Moshoeshoe II High School Hall starting this Friday.

DC Secretary General Mr. Tsítso Cheba told the Agency on Wednesday that its planned leadership conference that was scheduled this weekend was forced to be postponed by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) emergency meeting held this week.
