LETLAPENG RESOURCE CENTER CALLS FOR COMPLIANCE, BOOST IN LOCAL SEEDLING PURCHASES

Qacha’sNek, Aug. 20 — Letlapeng Resource Center Extension Officer, Mrs. Molefali Moteka has called on civil servants to purchase seedlings exclusively within their own districts, emphasizing that each district has its own warehouse.

During the official handover of Maks Butchery on Tuesday, Mrs. Moteka criticized the tendency of some civil servants to bypass procedures, which disrupts the management of government resources and impacts the district negatively.

She also highlighted issues with seedlings being bought with borrowed Identity Documents (IDs) for people outside the district and stressed that the resources are intended for Qacha’s Nek-based residents only.

Mrs. Moteka pointed out that “cutting corners leads to unsuccessful market days and undermines the district’s productivity compared to others,” she said.
