LIVESTOCK RECOVER FROM BLUE TONGUE DESEASE

Mohale’s Hoek, March, 18 — Chief Bojara Malebanye from Ha-‘Mapotsane, has on Monday confirmed that 5 his sheep which were attacked by Blue tongue desease have recovered well.

This transpired in an interview with the Agency whereby Chief Malebanye stated that sheep had uncontrollable mucus coming from the nose, swollen mouth and has developed sores inside the mouth.

Chief Malebanye noted that apart from some vaccinations he bought over the counter, he used home-made remedies he prepared after seeking advice from other farmers. . .
