MALUTI ADVENTIST HOSPITAL EMBRACES NATURAL HEALING

Berea, September 05 — In a bid to align with the growing preference for natural healing methods among Basotho, Maluti Adventist Hospital has officially launched a Lifestyle Medicine Clinic, fully operational since February 24, 2024.

This specialized unit focuses solely on natural remedies and holistic wellness, offering an alternative for those seeking treatment beyond conventional pharmaceuticals.

According to Alternative Medicine Practitioner, Ms. Retšepile Motanyane, the clinic was introduced in response to two key factors, the public’s increasing interest in traditional and natural healing and periodic shortages of conventional medication in hospitals.

“We make use of herbs, spices, oils and water to address various health conditions. Our consultations go beyond symptoms, we dig deep into daily lifestyle choices such as diet, sleep and stress levels that could impact a person’s wellbeing,”  said Motanyane.
