Maseru, June 23 — Experienced Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) match officials Messrs Lebalang Mokete and Souru Phats’oane have been appointed by the regional football body to officiate at the upcoming tournament to be staged in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape from June 26 to July 7th this year.
LeFA Media Officer Mr Mikia Kalati told the Agency on Sunday that Mr. Mokete is part of 12 central referees selected for this year’s edition of the regional tournament while Mr. Phats’oane has been handed a call-up to be part of 13 match officials that will manage the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
“The duo left the country earlier this week to participate in the VAR training workshop conducted by COSAFA in Johannesburg,” he explained. . .
