MOTEBANG BACK TO NORMALITY

Leribe, Nov. 06 — After almost a year and a half of poor health service delivery by Motebang Government Hospital, the hospital has been allocated about six doctors from November 1, 2024.

This was revealed by the District Medical Officer Dr. Pusetso Topo during Heads of Departments meeting held at District Administrator’s premises Hlotse in Leribe on Wednesday.

He reminded that the scarcity of doctors happened gradually, whereby some doctors went for studying while foreign doctors did not have their contracts renewed.

“The contracts were not renewed for foreign doctors, as it was concluded by the Ministry of Health that Basotho doctors be given an opportunity,” he stated.
