Mafeteng, July 08 — Ts’akholo community braved the freezing weather conditions to access government’s grants inclusive of Basic Education Strengthening Project (BESP) top up at Metsi-Maholo Council E01 on Monday.
The disabled, orphaned children as well as unemployed people were all there to receive funding meant to meet them halfway with regard to their hunger status.
Categories of the grants for needy households include Public Assistance (PA), Disability Grants (DG) and Child Grant Programme (CGP).
In an interview, Mrs. ‘Mabokang Nts’utheleng of Ha Mofolo mentioned that her child is a beneficiary under BESP, indicating she is getting the M1500.00 in addition to CGP.
