Berea, Oct 10 — SHE-HIVE Association Operations and Programs Manager (OPM) Ms. Mamolise Harris says no one is immune to any act of family violence, hence they call for people to speak out as domestic violence is no longer a private issue anymore.
SHE-HIVE Association OPM made the remarks on Thursday during the public gathering for Urban Council people staged at Taoana Square with the purpose to raise awareness about the Counter Domestic Violence Act 2022.
Ms. Harris said in most cases people live in abusive family setup, stay together or an intimate relationship abuse each other, but most of the incidents go unreported, therefore their mandate is to raise awareness, to educate people about the Counter Domestic Violence Act 2022 and to give them an insight into the victims and perpetrators. . .
