SNOWFALL DISRUPTS PLAN

Qacha’s Nek, July 10 — Agri Solutions Centre (ASC) Operational Manager, Mr. Khakanyo Ratikane says snowfall has forced them to postpone their meeting with farmers which was scheduled to July 11 (tomorrow).

Speaking with the Agency, Mr. Ratikane said the workshop which was intended to capacitate farmers on how to easily access planting equipment during this planting season has been postponed until further notice.

“We want farmers to stop going to South Africa to buy Landini tractors yet it is now made locally and we want them to make use of our service kits even if they do not own Landini model as we cater for all,” he said.
