Maseru, Aug.29 — United For Change (UFC) has distanced itself from its Parliamentarian Mr. Mohlominyane Tota who is also the party’s deputy leader.
This follows the incident in which the said Member of Parliament (MP) voted against the government in the National Assembly on August 15.
According to the press statement by UFC, the decision by Mr. Tota to vote against government was his alone as he did not inform the National Executive Committee (NEC) before making such decision.
It states therefore that the NEC talked with Mr. Tota regarding his action and that UFC’s intention is to support the government and be of one voice with it for developments that the party had campaigned about to the public.
