VULTURE RESTAURANT TO BE MODERNIZED 

Quthing, August 19 – –  In an effort to promote protection of vulture birds’ species, members of Quthing Wild Life Development Trust (QWDT) from Tsatsane area will engage in a project to modernize Tsatsane Vulture Restaurant at Ha-Liphapang in the area from next week.

Vultures are among the bird species facing a high extinction risk and are globally protected due to their significant population decline.

In an interview, the QWDT Secretary from Tsatsane area Mr. Gabriel Moteuli highlighted that, a one-month development of Tsatsane Vulture Restaurant project activities funded by Global Environment Facility (GEF) include amongst others; construction of a shelter for watching vultures while eating carcasses from killed old donkeys for their feed by members of QWDT…MS/BM
