Maseru, April.24—New and upcoming entrepreneurs were equipped with skills on how they can register and protect their businesses as owning Intellectual Property (IP) can give a business a competitive edge as it can be licensed, sold or used to attract investors and generate income.
This emerged at the 2nd day of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) sub-regional workshop on Madrid and Patent Corporation on Treaty (PTC) which is hosted by Lesotho through the office of the Registrar General with the support of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO).
