LIKUENA DRAW TWO SUCCESSIVE GAMES IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER 

Maseru, Nov. 22 — Lesotho’s senior soccer squad Likuena is yet to win a match after playing two successive draws against West African nations Nigeria 1-1 and Benin 0-0 in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Likuena welcomed Benin’s Cheetahs in the second match of group C in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers played at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban in a mid-week match on Tuesday.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Likuena interim Coach Mr. Makhetha Notsi told the media that his players started slowly and struggled to cope with the tempo of the game. . .
