LNFOD FOCAL PERSONS ACQUIRE ADVOCACY SKILLS

Berea, Sept 18 — Lesotho National Federation of the Disabled (LNFOD) has engaged at least 40 focal persons from four Community Councils of Berea in a two-day training aimed at equipping them with advocacy skills.

The focal persons are part of the support team to work with LNFOD on its project called Gender And Disability In Practice (GADIP).

In his remarks, LNFOD Project Coordinator Mr. Rabasotho Moeletsi said for the duration of five years life span of the project, they will be working directly with the communities and as a result they have to maintain good working relations, hence the importance to equip focal team with advocacy skills and necessary equipment to support their work. . .
