MEHALALITOE TO PLAY MALAWI IN FRIENDLY MATCHES

Maseru, Aug. 14 — The Lesotho Senior Women’s National team, Mehalalitoe will head to Malawi at the end of the month where they will face the Scorchers in two international friendly matches.

Lesotho Football Association (LeFA)’s Mikia Kalati said Malawi will host the two matches in Blantyre with the first game scheduled for Friday, August, 29 while the final game of the friendly series will play on Sunday also at Mpira Stadium.

He said the Shalane Lehohla’s coached side will use the two international friendly matches to fine tune preparations for the COSAFA Women’s Championship to be played later this year.

However, Kalati said the team will have to do without Kick4Life Women players, who will be playing at the CAF Women’s Championships League COSAFA Qualifiers which also gets underway late in August.
