SEPARATION OF POWERS VITAL – RALEBESE

Maseru, July 25 – The need to bridge the gap on separation of powers between executive, judiciary and parliament is vital so that efforts of these sectors do not go futile.  

This was said by the Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Justice, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Lira Ralebese when officiating a four-day judicial symposium on separation of powers held in Maseru starting today, Tuesday.

The PS thanked the Commonwealth for having funded this workshop which he said has brought together judges, magistrates and professionals in law to come and dialogue on separation of powers otherwise ‘Latimer House Principles.’ . . . .
