SUP. RAMARIKHOANA PLEADS FOR A TIP-OFF

Mohale’s Hoek, September.16 — Superintendent Thato Ramarikhoana has on Saturday pleaded with villagers at Noka-Nts’o and it’s environs to come forward with information, following the death of about 170 goats which were burned to death at a cattle post in Maphutsaneng.

Superintendent Ramarikhoana indicated that reports showed that the fire originated from nearby villages, even though an individual who might have caused it is not known, as a result of no signs that the fire was intentional.

In an interview with the Agency, the owner of the livestock Mr. Mphanya Lekhoaba who is the Chairman of the District Grazing Association Committee, highlighted that he got a report from his head boys notifying him about the ordeal, noting they heard a disturbing sound in the middle of the night, and realized that the cattle post was surrounded with flames with goats inside.
