Johannesburg, Nov.13 — Lack of decent and productive jobs continue to remain the biggest challenge that the African continent is still facing up to date.
This was said by the International Labour Organization (ILO) Employment Specialist Mr. Jealous Chirove while presenting issues on comprehensive approach to promote stimulation of creation of more and better jobs for all at the three-day media workshop on employment and labour issues in Southern Africa which is currently on going in Sandton, South Africa.
In his presentation, Mr. Chirove said that according to Labour survey conducted in terms of assessing unemployment statistics, Lesotho is reported to be having a 22.3 percent of unemployment with 35.5 percent reported as youth unemployment with Botswana reporting 27.4 percent of unemployment and youth making it with a 49.6 percent report. . .
