Maseru, June 17– Senior Superintendent Leluma Mahlelebe, who is the second in charge of Maseru Central Correctional Institution (MCCI) was ordered to identify officers who appear on the footage which showed how the two escaped inmates were assaulted after being recaptured.
The Commission of Inquiry Chairperson Justice Realeboha Mathaba ordered Snr. Supt. Mahlelebe after he requested not to mention names of officers on the footage on grounds that he fears for his life.
Justice Mathaba made an order after the commission adjourned to decide on what Mahlalebe requested thus said the commission decided he was compelled and would ask him questions when looking at the footage. . .
