NUL LAST DAY OF 50TH CONVOCATION

Maseru, Sept.26 — The National University of Lesotho (NUL) held its last day of the 50th convocation with conferment of degrees to 200 graduands at the Institute of Extra Mural Studies (IEMS) on Friday.

This concludes to the number of graduates for 2025 to 1,775 in different fields, including Education, Nursing, Law, Agriculture, Social Work and Mass Communication to mention a few.

Addressing the graduands, guest of honour Mrs. ‘Mamashiya Ts’epang Ts’ita-Tikiso said today, the wear the gowns with pride because they have earned it.

She said this also marks the contribution the parents and lecturers have made to the achievement of the graduands.

She said education is the seed that they have to use to turn their lives around and achieve their desired dreams.

She urged them to adopt entrepreneurial mind set, look for solutions, innovation and seek to create opportunities for others.

“Go out there, work with pride and strive to stand out. Leave a mark at workplaces, communities and country as well,” she said.

She further urged them to leave impact in other people’s lives saying if they all commit to impact together they can transform Lesotho. . . .
