Maseru, March. 20 – In celebration of World Radio Day (WRD), Radio Announcers convened in Maseru on Wednesday, to rethink 100 years of existence of this medium.
Issues discussed were centered around WRD theme: ” informing, entertaining and educating ” reflects a remarkable journey, from radio’s early days as a tool for safety applications to its enduring status as a versatile means of media.
Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Lesotho Consultant Mr. Mzimkhulo Sithetho stated that radio plays a vital role in informing, educating and entertaining the society.
