Maseru, Feb. 14 — In line with the theme ‘harnessing technology and innovations to accelerate human development in Lesotho’ , stakeholders attended a validation workshop on Lesotho Human Development Report 2023/24 in Maseru on Wednesday.
Officiating the workshop on behalf of the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, the Director, Mrs. ‘Malefu Khanyapa stated that the workshop seeks to among others bring together stakeholders in an attempt to help the country improve efficiency in terms of service delivery so as to attain National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP ll) review extension.
She alluded that pillars of this document are clearly outlined including technology and innovation hence the validation workshop will further go a long way in ensuring that plans of government through the Ministry are tabled to attract donor support.
“We are thrilled by the fact that the main donor, in this case UNDP, has aligned its goals to the national ones, thus committing us all to work together in achieving the set goals and targets,” she stressed.
