Qacha’sNek, April.25—Senior Magistrate Ts’eliso Bale has sentenced a 16-year-old boy to Juvenile Training Centre (JTC) for theft.
The court heard that on March 29, 2024, he broke Mr. Teboho Molupe of Whitehill’s window and stole M3000 therefore contravening Section 65 (1) (2) and 109 (1) of Penal Code Act No.6 of 2010.
After committing the crime, he ran to Durban.
Young offenders who complete their sentences at the JTC do not have a criminal record.
